I collect and disassembling old time pieces to create altered art steampunk pendants. This one of a kind pendant features my fused glass with a cyborg twist. Great pendant for that sci-fi person in you. All my pendants are skillfully crafted and unique. All glass pieces are also personally handcrafted.

This pendant measures 1.65 x 1.35 inches

Dichroic glass is stacked and melted in an kiln around 1500 degrees. It is then shaped and fired again. This process takes over 24 hour by slowly heating and cooling the glass.

I know you're asking... what is Steampunk? Steampunk is a sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used-usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era England-but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. So… to put all that in english, It’s like taking modern technology and representing it with gears and moving parts… instead of electronics.
